An Ideal Client-Server Application to monitor complete production cycle. The modules envisaged during the discussion are as follows :
- Customer / Supplier Database : Customer Database would be maintained through this module. Customer ID, Customer name, Department Name, Address, Telephone No., Email Id, Type of Customer etc. would be allocated to each customer.
- Product Database : Through this module details of all the products would be entered, regarding their name, description, rate, reorder level, type of product etc. Unique id would be generated for each product. Item Master would be at three level.
- Order Module : Once the order is received from the customer. It would be fed in the package through this option. All the details related to customer, type of order, order delivery date and the product to be delivered would be stored here.
- Purchase Order : Based on the bill of material, store incharge checks the material in stores and accordingly generate purchase orders to procure material from various vendors. Report would be generated purchaser wise, so that each purchaser can view the material to be procured by him for a particular work order.
- GR Module : All the pending purchase orders would be visible to the purchase department. When the material comes from the supplier, a purchase order is clicked. All the details related to the purchase order comes automatically.
- Purchase Module : All the pending GRs would be visible to the purchase department. Each GR is checked for quantity and quality. Material is received or rejected against each GR. The stock would be automatically updated based on the quantity accepted.
- Work Order Module : For each order received a work order is made. It takes care of all the processes to be required, to execute the order. It also prepares bill of material / Indent to be send to stores for procurement of all the items.
- Production Module : Everyday, production is entered through this module. It takes care of all semi finished and finished product stock. Production MIS could be generated based on particular machine and worker.
- Vendor Issue : Material is issued to the vendor for a particular job. Gatepass is generated for each issue.
- Vendor Receipt : When material comes from the vendor, it is fed in the system. Accordingly vendor stock is updated.
- Dispatch Module : Through this module dispatch would be made to various customers. Accordingly stock would be updated and customers orders would be updated.

Reports : To track the details entered through above modules, various useful MIS reports could be generated through this software. The reports would be customised as per your requirements after the system study of the package.
